Togetsutei Hotel, Kyoto

The hot spring experience at Togetsutei was unbeatable. I loved winding down in the serene ambiance. Although I was too late to book the outdoor ones, the experience in the indoor bath was still rejuvenating. I appreciated the quality of the beauty products available in the bathing area, which definitely added to the overall experience.

The meals at Togetsutei were simply exquisite! We enjoyed a traditional multi-course dinner that was both elaborate and beautifully presented. Each dish was a good experience, from the soft beancurd to the sashimi with abalone. Breakfast was equally impressive, providing a wholesome start to my day.

My room featured both an outdoor hot spring round bathtub and a wooden tub in the washroom. Each bathing experience was relaxing, surrounded by beautiful elements. The attention to detail in the bath amenities just made it so much better. It was one of the highlights of my stay!

Each evening, the staff would set up our futon mattresses, pillows, and blankets, ensuring a traditional Japanese sleeping experience. The futons were comfortable enough, providing a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The ambiance of the room, complemented by the calming decor, made it feel truly special.
